Pastors and staff



    Johnny and his wife Lori moved to Winston-Salem in 2016 to become the Senior Pastor of Harvest Winston-Salem. Before coming to Harvest, Johnny has spent the last 10 years in Naples, Florida. He has been involved in planting two churches and since 2011 has served as a Directional Elder and Campus Pastor at Summit Church. Johnny attended the Harvest Training Center in Elgin, IL. During the Fall of 2016.


    Johnny and Lori have two kids, Lily and Lucas. Johnny enjoys being with his family, spending time with people, playing sports and all things Michael Jordan.

  • Gray steadman

    worship director

    Gray is a North Carolina native. He leads our worship team and oversees worship for all the ministries at Harvest. Gray attended Piedmont International University.  He has a passion for leading people into vertical worship and seeing the name of Jesus Christ lifted high.  

    Gray married his wife, Crystal, in 2014. He enjoys sports, music, and his beagle, Winnie. 

  • jacob wright

    harvest kids and church life director

    Jacob is a Winston Salem native and absolutely loves this city. Jacob has served in many roles at the church over the years, he joined our staff as the Director of Harvest Kids in the fall of 2015. In addition to our Children’s Ministry, Jacob oversees much of the logistical operations at the church such as setup, teardown, and transportation. Jacob has a passion for helping others and wants everyone he encounters to know the amazing life and love that can be found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.


    Jacob, his wife Kim, and their two children, Hayden and Emerson, have been at the church since 2005. Jacob loves to travel, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. 

  • luke smith

    Creative DIRECTOR


    Luke is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. He heads up the Harvest Winston-Salem creative department and oversees our production teams, communications and creative projects within the church. Luke is also part of our Student Ministry Staff. He has a heart for serving others and growing along side them in Christ. 

    Luke is married to his wife, Emilee, whom he met at Harvest. He enjoys good music, good people, and the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
